Highway Racer is an electronic game with a distinct 90s style. While it can't be assumed that no old ideas can be reinvented, considering that classic games like Space Invaders and Pac - Man are still being successfully updated today, some concepts are clearly products of a specific era. The original Highway Racer was a very simple racing game, and its only unique feature was that you could punch other players when overtaking them on your bike. However, that was all there was to it, leaving little for the modern - day version of the game to draw on.
