"Gold Miner" is a classic casual mining game that takes you back to the early 2000s and has attracted numerous players over the years. In this timeless adventure, you'll strive to collect gold, stones, and minerals to meet your daily goals and amass unimaginable wealth.
Gameplay
Each level of this game is generally similar, but the difficulty varies greatly. You play as a gold miner at the top of the game interface, controlling a crane with a hook to grab as many valuable items as possible. The items you need to aim for include gold nuggets, diamonds, animals carrying diamonds, money bags, and so on. There are also some non-precious metals around the gold and diamonds - this is where your skills are put to the test. You need to avoid them or grab them strategically - yes, you can also catch these things, but they are of extremely low value and mostly just obstacles and a waste of time.
Between each level, you'll encounter a shopkeeper who will sell you different items to help you play better in the next level. The prices of the items vary greatly. Sometimes, a high price means you may need the item in the next round; sometimes, the shopkeeper just inflates the price to deceive you.
The money rewards are cumulative, and you can carry the money you earned in the previous round into the next round. If you have enough money and have reached or are close to the goal of the next round, you might as well splurge and buy some high-priced items, which may significantly increase your earnings.
Game Features
Some of the shop items include:
- Rock Polishing Water: In the level where this potion is used, the value of the rocks will triple, and it only works for the current level.
- Lucky Four-Leaf Clover: It can increase the chance of getting good things from the grab bag, and it only works for the current level.
- Spinach: It gives the miner more strength to pull up items.
- Bomb: After your claw grabs an item, press the up key to throw a stick of dynamite at the item to blow it up.
- Diamond Polishing Water: After purchase, the diamonds in the next level will be more valuable.
- Hourglass: It adds 15 seconds to the time of the next level.
- Ice Magic: It can immediately freeze the diamond bats.
- Super Claw: A ray of light will appear from the hook to the ground, showing where the claw will land.
